Platform (RaMP) is an end-to-end hardware and software solution for
comprehensive real-time monitoring and inventory analysis combining
exact location with system configuration and power and environmental
properties.

Software
The RaMP
Application Server provides full scalability for even the largest
data centers. It was designed to communicate with multiple data
collectors and RaMP Gateways to collected detailed information for
all equipment in your racks.
RaMP uses
measured power data from rack PDUs and individual devices combined
with proprietary power calculation algorithms to calculate power to
the device level. This data is then run through additional
calculations to provide real-time failover analysis of all racks in
your data center.
The RaMP Application Server provides the following functionality:
- Dashboard driven
user interface
- User alerts and
notification
- Communicates with
RaMP Data Collectors to provide real-time power and environmental
monitoring
- Communicates with
RaMP Gateways to provide device configuration and change management
- Web services API
provides communication with external systems
- Enhanced
reporting package provides ability to quickly and create fully
customized reports using Microsoft Word
